Anritsu's Signal Analyzer Selected by Samsung for 5G system development


Anritsu announced that it is offering its 5G measurement solution to Samsung for their 5G wireless equipment manufacturing allowing fast deployment of future 5G services. Slashing capital equipment costs, to help increase both product quality and measurement speed while maximizing investment efficiency, are the advantages from the deployment of the MS2850A  signal analyzer, Anritsu says.

Samsung said that Anritsu’s MS2850A will play a key quality assurance role at manufacturing to facilitate fast 5G service deployments.

Samsung unveiled its end-to-end 5G product portfolios including 5G home routers (CPEs), 5G Access Unit (AU) last year under development for commercial grade products. The company is engaged with major operators in leading markets like the United States, South Korea and Japan to commercialize 5G to the market.

Anritsu has long supported communications equipment development and manufacturing in the mobile communications field since 3G (W-CDMA).

Key features that make the MS2850A an ideal solution for development and manufacturing of 5G wireless communications equipment are an analysis bandwidth of up to 1 GHz used by 5G as well as built-in modulation analysis software and all-at-once capture of up to 8 multicarrier signals, Anritsu noted.

In addition, the MS2850A offers an excellent dynamic range, amplitude, and phase flatness of meeting or exceeding the specifications of high-end models supporting high-accuracy signal analysis.
